# Correction and Opt-out Policy

AI-Ready aims to keep public index data useful and trustworthy.

Users and organizations can request:

- correction of inaccurate data;
- profile claim;
- source review;
- removal/opt-out when appropriate;
- update of contacts, services or status.

Requests should be reviewed by the team before public changes are made.

## Current profile update path

In the local/demo workflow, corrections and owner-submitted updates use the claim/update form on a company profile page. The submitted request is visible only in admin-lite until reviewed.

Approved updates can confirm public profile fields, but approval does not create a ranking boost, endorsement, guaranteed AI visibility or paid placement.
